A Near Mint 1997 PRS Standard.
This 1987 PRS 'Standard' weighs just 7.90 lbs. One-piece PRS-shape offset asymmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body with sculptured top. One-piece mahogany glued-in neck with a nut width of 1 11/16 inches, a wonderful medium profile and a scale length of 25.00 inches. Single-action truss rod. Back angled three-on-a-side non veneered headstock with gold silk-screened "Paul Reed Smith" signature logo on face. Single-layer black plastic truss-rod cover wiith one screw. Individual Schaller/PRS 'Rotamatic' locking tuners with half-moon metal buttons. Serial number "7 2412" inked-on in white on back of headstock. Ten inch radiused Brazilian Brazilian rosewood fretboard with Mother-of-Pearl 'moon' and Abalone dot inlays and 24 jumbo frets. One PRS Standard 'Bass' Humbucker (with "B" engraved on the underside) in the neck position and one PRS Standard 'Treble' Humbucker (with "T" engraved on the underside) in the bridge position with outputs of 8.36k and 9.97k respectively. The pickups are uncovered as usual. One volume control, one five-way rotary pickup selector switch, and one 'mini' two-way 'sweet switch' tone filter. Black plastic barrel-shape "Speed" control knobs. The potentiometer s are stamped "134 8651 (CTS, December 1986). Nickel-plated combined PRS six-saddle bridge and tremolo system. Inside the treble pickup cavity, written in black marker is the serial number "72412". This amazing guitar is in near mint (9.25) condition with just one tiny indentation on the top, a few on the sides and one tiny surface chip, the size of a match head on the lower edge. Housed in the original three-latch, rectangular black hardshell case with black leather ends and black plush lining (9.00).
The Standard 24 (aka PRS Guitar, Standard - 1985-current) features a one-piece mahogany regular set-neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, moon inlays, 24 frets, signature logo on headstock: chrome-plated locking tuners. Solid mahogany PRS shape body:sunbursts or colours. Two humbuckers (Standard Bass and Standard Treble until 1991). Two controls (five-way pickup selector, volume) and two-way "sweet switcj" tone filter until 1991: nickel-plated PRS vibrato. Known as PRS guitar 1985-86:Standard 1987-98: Standard 24 1998-current.

Condition
Respectfully, that guitar is not "mint" -- or even 9.5 -- condition. That is a killer guitar that will sell either way. Why lie about it and risk your reputartion? ~Hans
