Marc Bolan's Sea Foam Green "Jeepster"  -  The Only One With Gold Hardware.

This is Marc Bolan's Sea Foam Green Jaguar. This unbelievable 'Glam Rock' guitar weighs just 8.30 lbs. and has a nut width of 1 5/8 inches and a scale length of 24 inches. Offset asymmetrical 14 inch wide solid alder body. One-piece maple neck with a medium profile. Brazilian rosewood 'veneer' fretboard with 22 jumbo frets and clay dot position markers. Headstock with matching "Sea Foam Green" finish. Two white oblong Strat-like pickups with notched metal side plates and outputs of 6.92k and 6.31k. Three-layer (white/black/white) plastic pickguard. Jaguar / Jazzmaster floating tremolo and bridge with adjustable mute. Original tremolo arm with black plastic tip. All hardware (except for tremolo arm) gold-plated. This guitar has been expertly refretted with jumbo size frets (either by Marc Bolan or Henri Padovani). Apart from some light playing wear this guitar is in remarkably fine condition. Only FOUR Foam (or Sea Foam) Green Jaguars from this year are known, and this is the ONLY ONE known with gold hardware. It was owned by Marc Bolan of T Rex and later by Henri Padovani of The Police. Original Fender light brown Tolex case with burnt orange plush lining (9.00).
