Phil X's 'Warm-Up Guitar' For the 2013 Bon Jovi Tour

2013 Duesenberg Senior '52 Goldtop.

This rather interesting version of a Les Paul Gold Top weighs 7.90 lbs. 'Sound-Chambered' mahogany body with a solid carved maple top and a metal banjo style armrest on the top bass side. The top and back of the guitar have a thick single cream binding. One-piece mahogany neck with a nut width of just under 1 11/16 inches, a scale length of 25.50 inches and a comfortable medium profile. Single-bound Indian rosewood fretboard with 22 jumbo frets and inlaid cream 'dot' position markers. Rosewood over maple faced headstock with an onlaid "D" and specific-shaped metal truss-rod cover with "Duesenberg" in silver over black, secured by three screws. Individual Duesenberg Deluxe Tuning Machines with 'ridged' half-moon metal buttons. Serial number “130662" engraved on oval metal plate on back of headstock. Single Duesenberg P-90 pickup in the bridge position with an output of 6.54k. Lucite pickguard with "Duesenberg" in gold and a thin gold outline. Two controls (one volume, one tone) and a three-way 'sound selector' switch, all mounted on pickguard. Duesenberg lightly domed, cross-hatch control knobs with a single vertical channel. Combined Duesenberg wrap around bridge/tailpiece. All hardware nickel plated. A mint (9.50) condition example complete with the owners manual, warranty, catalog and polishing cloth. Housed in the original Duesenberg six-latch, shaped black hardshell case with black plush lining (9.50).

Duesenberg Germany supplied this guitar to Phil X in July 2013 whilst he was on the World tour with Bon Jovi. Phil used it primarily for warming up before every Bon Jovi show from Mid July to December 2013. Phil has signed the guitar with a silver marker on the back of the headstock. Phil's original black leather guitar strap is included.
