This 14 3/4-inch-wide, 2 1/2 inch deep archtop guitar weighs just 7.10 lbs. and has a nice, fat nut width of just under 1 3/4 inches and a scale length of 24 3/4 inches. Laminated maple back and sides, close-grain spruce top with two single-bound 'f' holes. Three-piece maple neck with a medium-to-thin profile. Bound ebony fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and inlaid pearl and abalone block position markers. Headstock triple-bound and with inlaid pearl "Ibanez" and the George Benson logo's. Black over white plastic truss rod cover engraved "George Benson" secured by two screws. The body of the guitar has seven-ply binding on the top and five-ply binding on the back. Individual Gotoh closed-back tuners with four-sided pearl buttons. Two Ibanez GB special 'Alnico' 'floating' mini-humbucker pickups with outputs of 13.10k (neck) and 13.19k (bridge) respectively. Tortoiseshell plastic pickguard with five-layer binding on edges. Four controls (two volume, two tone) on lower treble bout and three-way pickup selector switch on bass horn. See-thru plastic control knobs with black rubber bezels. Compensated ebony bridge on adjustable ebony base with pearl inlays at each end and specific adjustable Ibanez tailpiece. Oval label inside bass 'f' hole with model and serial number stamped in black. All hardware gold-plated. This guitar is in mint, brand new, unplayed condition and is complete with it's original hang-tags, truss-rod adjustment tool, additional strap-button and screw and case keys. Housed in it's original Ibanez four-latch shaped black hardshell case with dark green plush lining (9.50).
