This "175th Anniversary America's" 15 1/2-inch/wide acoustic flat top weighs just 4.80 lbs. and has a very fat nut width of 1 3/4 inches and a scale length of 25.40 inches. Natural Solid Adirondack Spruce top, Solid Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, solid Hawaiian Koa and fine Herringbone side inlays. Selected Hardwood neck "V" shaped neck with a medium-to-fat profile, ebony fretboard with 20 frets and "long pattern" diamonds and squares in abalone bordered in mother-of-pearl position markers. "175 Anniversary" banner logo inlaid in abalone bordered in mother-of-pearl at twelfth fret. Headstock with "Martin & Co. / 1833-2008 / America's Guitar" inlaid in mother-of-pearl. Individual Waverly nickel tuners with butterbean buttons. Tortoiseshell pickguard. Solid black ebony 1930's style 'Belly' bridge with drop-in long saddle bridge string spacing. Serial number "1289329" on wooden plate at end of neck. Inside the guitar affixed to the bottom are a photograph of Christian Frederick Martin lV and his family and also the America's Guitar limitation statement signed by Christian Frederick Martin lV "135 of 175". This guitar is in mint (9.50) condition. Complete with the original Warranty Registration document and Instruction Manual. Housed in the original Martin six-latch black hardshell case with maroon plush lining and "175 Anniversary" banner logo embroidered on top (9.50).
