2008 Gibson Les Paul Custom (Gibson Custom Shop).

This Polaris White 2008 Gibson Custom Shop two pickup '58 Reissue Les Paul Custom weighs 9.90 lbs. Solid mahogany body, one-piece mahogany neck with a wonderful typical '58 thick profile, a nut width of just under 1 11/16 inches and a standard Gibson scale length of 24 3/4 inches. Ebony fretboard with 22 medium frets and inlaid pearl block position markers. Headstock with inlaid pearl "Gibson" logo and pearl five-piece split-diamond inlay. Two-layer (black on white) plastic truss-rod cover with "Les Paul Custom" engraved in white. Serial number "CS-85069" inked-on in black on the back of the headstock. Gold and black Gibson / Custom" decal also on back of headstock. The top of the guitar has six-ply binding,the back has four-ply binding, the headstock has five-ply binding, and the fretboard is single-bound. Individual Grover Roto-Matic tuners with half-moon metal buttons. Gibson 490R Humbucker (with Alnico ll magnets) in the neck position and a Gibson 490T Humbucker (with Alnico V magnets) in the bridge position with outputs of 7.79k and 13.25k respectively. Five-layer (black / white / black / white / black) plastic pickguard. Four controls (two volume, two tone) plus three-way selector switch. The potentiometers are stamped "70034 0816" (Gibson, April 2008). Black plastic barrell shaped knobs. Gibson 'Nashville' Tune-O-Matic retainer bridge with metal saddles and separate stud tailpiece. All hardware gold-plated. This guitar is in mint (9.50) condition. Complete with all of the original case candy, including Gibson Custom Shop "Certificate of Authenticity", "Gibson Gold Warranty", Gibson "Customer Care Guide" booklet, guitar lead, polishing cloth, picks, truss-rod adjuster and case key. Housed in the original Gibson brown hardshell case with purple plush lining (9.50).
