2005 Gretsch G6128TCG Duo Jet Solid Body (Japan).
This guitar has all of the good looks of the original Gretsch 6128 solid body model of the mid 1950s. It weighs in at just 7.20 lbs., and has a chambered mahogany body finished in mahogany stain with a Cadillac Green top. One-piece mahogany neck with a very comfortable nut width of just over 1 11/16 inches, a scale length of 24 1/2 inches and a very fast medium-thin profile. Rosewood fretboard with 22 medium-thin frets and aged vintage inlaid pearloid hump-top block position markers. Headstock with black overlay and inlaid pearloid Gretsch "T-roof" logo. Serial number "JD04 101038" stamped on the back of the headstock. The body has aged triple binding on the top and the neck and the headstock have aged single binding. Individual open-back Grover Sta-Tite tuners with oval metal buttons. Two Gretsch DynaSonic (DeArmond) single-coil pickups with outputs of 7.88k and 7.92k. Gold Plexi pickguard with pantograph-engraved Gretsch "T-roof" logo in black. Four controls (two individual volume controls and master tone control in a triangular configuration on lower treble bout and master volume control on upper treble bout) plus three-way selector switch on upper bass bout. "Arrow-through-G" knobs with cross-hatch pattern on sides. Gretsch (Melita) Synchro-Sonic bridge on ebony base and Gretsch Bigsby B3G vibrato tailpiece with pivoting arm. All hardware gold-plated. This guitar is in mint (9.50) condition. Complete with all of the original case candy. Housed in its original Gretsch black hardshell case with burgundy plush lining (9.50).
