Designed by Master Luthier Ren Ferguson, this guitar is one of the most beautiful instruments to come from the world famous Gibson Custom Shop. They have taken the Dove, one of their fanciest models, and made it even more fancy. From the headstock down, there are seven individually engraved mother-of-pearl doves and even gold-plated tuner buttons engraved with doves. Down the ebony fretboard there are sixteen more inlaid mother-of-pearl doves, three more on the pickguard and another two on the tailpiece - twenty-eight in all. The binding on the top and on the soundhole is richly adorned with blue/green abalone shell and the back, sides and neck are highly figured curly maple. But not only does this guitar look beautiful - it also sounds wonderful…
