An Amazing Quilt Top Les Paul that Weighs only 8.3 lbs!!!!

This extremely unusual and beautiful guitar, with a chambered mahogany body, weighs just 8.30 lbs. and has a very fat nut width of over 1 11/16 inches and a scale length of 24 3/4 inches. Carved maple top with an amazing quiled firemist finish, mahogany neck, and ebony fretboard with 22 frets and abalone crown position markers. Headstock with inlaid pearl "Gibson" logo, inlaid pearl "Custom Shop" logo with "Les Paul" decal. Serial number ("791914") stamped on the back of the headstock. Individual Grover Roto-Matic tuners with half-moon metal buttons. Two humbucker pickups with cream plastic surrounds and outputs of 7.78k and 7.44k. Four controls (two volume, two tone) plus three-way selector switch. Potentiometers stamped "R 137 972" (Reissue CTS Jan 1997). Gold plastic bell-shaped "Bell" knobs. "Nashville" Tune-O-Matic bridge and separate stud tailpiece. This guitar is in exceptionally fine condition. Housed in the original Gibson Custom Shop black hardshell case with maroon velvet lining (9.50). Complete with the original tags.
