1959 Fender Telecaster

Color: Rosewood, Rating: 8.75, Sold (ID# 00822)
Call to Inquire: (818) 222-4113

1959 (mid-to-late) Telecaster neck with slab-rosewood board with 21 original frets and clay-dot position markers. "Fender" 'spaghetti logo' in silver with black outline and "Telecaster" in black below. This neck (including the ferrules) weighs exactly 1.00 lb. The nut width is just over 1 5/8 inches and the neck has a very comfortable medium profile. Original ferrules and 'butterfly' string-tree. There is some wear to the original frets - but they do have plenty of life left in them. There is some light playing wear to the varnish on both sides of the neck between the first and seventh frets. Neck undated as usual for a '59. There is a small area of surface loss (from a cigarette burn?) to the face of the headstock by the low E tuner. Otherwise a totally original and excellent plus (8.75) neck - just waiting for the right mid-to-late 1959 or very early 1960 Telecaster body…
