This 13-inch electric solid body weighs just 7.20 lbs. Mahogany body, mahogany neck with a scale length of 24 3/4 inches and a nice, fat nut width of 1 11/16 inches, rosewood fretboard with 22 frets and pearl dot markers. Gold silk-screen headstock logo. Three-in-a-line Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with white plastic buttons. One very hot P-90 pickup with an output of 7.52k. Black plastic pickguard. Two controls (one volume, one tone) with black plastic bell-shape "Bell" knobs. Original combination wrap-over bridge/stud tailpiece. Housed in its original chipboard "alligator" softshell case (8.00).
The Gibson shipping records show that 552 Les Paul TV's were shipped in 1957 but this figure includes both the two pickup TV Special and the single pickup TV Junior.
The TV Junior is much rarer than the TV Special and fine original examples like this one hardly ever come onto the market.
