Captain Lee & Chappers Visit Recap
The Fretted Americana Team had tons of fun with Lee Anderton (the Captain) and Rob Chappers over the weekend!!
For a full vintage shop experience, the boys were taken to Norm’s Rare Guitars and California Vintage Guitar shops on Friday. Despite their exhaustion, we all enjoyed a yummy dinner at our local Thai spot with Phil X, Dustin, and John Kasha.
After an amazingly huge breakfast at Denny’s, Saturday was spent recording videos and tunes --- finally we had the Phil X and his British counterpart, Rob Chappers in the same room playing guitars together!!! Saturday night, Dustin & Phil X took them to see the Guanabatz for a truly rockin’ show!! --- Apparently a load of liquor was consumed and on Sunday, the Fretted Americana ladies, Caroline & Debra, took the hungover boys to see Venice Beach and 3rd Street for loads of fun and some crazy videographing.
They arrived on Thursday and it was non-stop until their sad departure on Sunday afternoon --- definitely not a long enough visit! A good time was had by all.
